Our History
After taking several business classes, and
winning back to back Marketing Student of the Year Awards at Waukegan High School in the early 90's I realized that the idea of owning and
operating my own business was much more than just part of the American dream, it was a goal that was very obtainable.The idea of being able to have a business using my love for music and at the same time entertaining and making people happy, that obtainable goal..With the help of my mentor Jeff Allen and a few friends, the ground work was laid for a new disc jockey service. Our first booking was part of the City of Waukegan's Scoop The Loop event, even before a late night of brain storming to come up with the MUSIC DOCTORS name.
So Dr. Jack, Dr. Erik and Dr. Joey were born.
Since 1992 the MUSIC DOCTORS have continued to grow each year, with the same original idea still at the forefront of the way we conduct business. Keep it fun and treat each customer with the same quality care and treat their special event as if it were our own.

experience, not only as a mobile disc jockey but also as a top radio personality for such stations as

Our goal is to provide affordable quality disc jockey entertainment to the people in Lake County and the surrounding areas .
We believe in treating each and every one of our clients and their guests with the same respect and treatment as if they were our very own.

We believe it is a privilege to work for you , allowing us to share in life's special moments. From weddings to anniversary to graduation to reunions to sweet 16 to any type of party.
Events
Some disc jockey companies perform almost 300 events each year. That's an average of 7 events per week. Wow!!! All you become is another number and date to these larger companies, and you end up with a carbon copy event from the night before. We at the MUSIC DOCTORS keep each show fresh and new. An event that is tailored to your taste and budget, from sound, and colors to our attire.
